Traditionally, when you want to meet new people, you participate in "On Your Feet Networking". You attend events, then follow up with people you meet. There's another networking world out there that I call "In-Your-Seat Networking"™ . It's here to stay (at least for awhile.) You've heard of The Big Three Social Networking sites: LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Maybe you're signed up for 1, 2 or all 3 of them? Perhaps you're even regularly participating to some degree on them. - Do you really know how to use them?
- Are you clear on the differences between them?
- What about mixing/separating personal/business on them?
- What tools are available to make the time you spend more effective?
