Our Team

Wildwood Interactive is a female-owned business that was officially established in 2001. We've got a great, wooded location in Westlake Hills, where our happy, attentive employees and one Chinese Shar-Pei Office Doggie spend their days. Our core strength is the talent and passion of our employees, who are chosen for their technical expertise, combined with their dedication to satisfying clients. We believe communication with clients and each other is imperative for a successful project. Our environment is learning-oriented. We create high quality solutions and enjoy taking on new challenges.

CJ ROMBERGER
Education: CJ graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Texas State University. She holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems.

CJ founded Wildwood Interactive in 2000, on the belief that a successful website or application requires more than just excellent design, programming and database skills. It also requires a deep understanding of each client’s market and business objectives combined with an obsession for constant learning and improvement. She is dedicated to a customer-centered, quality-driven approach on all projects.

CJ’s experience includes systems analysis, website development and administration, database development, computer programming and training, quality assurance, and product and application development. She’s worked at companies like Fisher-Rosemont, BMC Software, and Human Code, and has led development teams for several large eCommerce sites like RX.com and Leapfrog.com.

She is active in several Austin organizations and always looks forward to meeting new people. Austin's "Gadget Girl" is also proud to write a column about technology for Austin Woman Magazine.  In her spare time plays music in her home recording studio and plays with new technology.

She's currently consumed by social media.  Find her on Facebook or LinkedIn, or follow her on Twitter - @cjromb.  Seminars include "How I Lost 32 34 pounds using Social Media" and "In-Your-Seat Networking (TM)".

WEST ROMBERGER
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, Texas State University

West is living his dream. As a co-owner of Wildwood Interactive, he's doing what he's wanted to do since he was a teenager. West started with Wildwood within months of its founding, and participated in its growth and development from a couple of freelancers "workin' out of the house" to a "real" company.

Prior to Wildwood, West held position in sales, sales management, and finance. He has an obsession for customer service which he's able to indulge freely at Wildwood. He also provides the company with strategic direction, business development, accounting and finance, product development, and training expertise. He's a programmer too. Just ask any of the Wildwood developers, but if you do, duck for cover as the rotten tomatoes take flight.

West is a great balance between professional and personable. He's patient, puts people at ease, and cares greatly about customer and employee satisfaction. He works diligently with customers, helping their vision become reality, while applying the same diligence towards making Wildwood successful.

West enjoys running and can regularly be heard randomly singing whatever song is stuck in his head.

LINDSAY HUCK
Education: BFA in Graphic Design/Studio Art, Sam Houston State University

When Lindsay was a little kid she wanted to be an astronaut. She soon realized she didn't really care for math class and had a serious case of claustrophobia. Somewhere along the way she lucked out and had a super cool art teacher who showed her super cool things.

Lindsay has 9 years of experience in the professional design world. A few years ago she discovered Flash and has been completely obsessed ever since. While at Wildwood Interactive, Lindsay has enjoyed playing   working more in Flash and creating dynamic and complex animations and applications.

Lindsay has the best laugh around. Her sense of humor keeps us in stitches, and her constant ability to do great work while integrating feedback and input cheerfully is priceless. In her spare time she enjoys going back to her roots, working with tangible brushes and colors, and getting a little paint on her clothes... sometimes she even wears her moon boots.

COLIN FLETCHER
Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Systems from Radford University, Radford, Virginia

In high school, Colin’s chosen elective was full. So, because he liked computers, he signed up for a programming class instead. After the first week of class he realized he was addicted to computers for life.

In college, he chose Information Systems and Science to get a broad knowledge base in general computer science, database, software engineering, and networking. For fun (electives), he signed up for web programming classes. That’s when he found what he wanted to specialize in. While still in college, he single-handedly created--from scratch the first apartment locator for the University.

He enjoys his work programming in PHP, Flex, Ruby on Rails, and sometimes even ASP.  He's particularly jazzed about his work in Flex and Ruby because they're new and exciting.  Colin's attracted to flashy, shiny things.

In addition to his programming, he's made significant contributions to Wildwood by managing our hosting environment, along with all our internal hardware and software needs. He and CJ are major gadget, technology and tool buddies, too. Colin gets along with absolutely everyone. He brews a delicious just-as-good-as-Guinness beer, and enjoys playing on the kickball team with Lindsay.

Colin considers his greatest personal achievement to be tricking Robyn Frank into becoming Mrs. Fletcher. This is Wildwood’s good fortune, too. Robyn has contributed significantly to our palettes (and our waistlines) with her supreme, award-winning cake-making skills.

SAMANTHA ROBLEDO
Education: Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin, Austin, Texas

Samantha enjoys office work, she likes to file and she LOVES when everything is in its place. She was born to administrate and organize, referring to herself as an “org dork”. In college, she learned that she loves to grow and is never satisfied if there isn’t a challenge at hand. Her favorite phrase is “make it happen” and believes that ALL things are possible with the right motivation and strategy.

Samantha enjoys volunteering for community events and is highly involved in her church. She is determined that life was meant to be lived with purpose and wants to impact the world for the better, one life at a time.

With experience in event planning, marketing, and non-profit, Samantha joined the Wildwood team in July 2008 ready for something new. Samantha is helping Wildwood go the next level as a company with behind the scenes excellence and client focused customer service. She aspires to own her own business one day and is planning to go back to school to get her Master’s degree in counseling or business.

SOPHIE SUE “SMOOSH PUSS”
Education: Are you kidding?  She's obviously already a genius.  How else would she have it made like this?

Chinese Shar-Peis were bred to be palace guard dogs. Sophie Sue, our office Shar-Pei, isn’t sure that type of position is for her. She knows she doesn't want any part of Flex, Ruby, PHP or any of that other stinkin' work stuff. She’d rather eat cookies, and enjoys snoring loudly from a chair while we’re on the phone or in meetings with clients. Each morning she wears herself out by greeting her co-workers. She’s a bit shy around strangers, but her curiosity usually gets the best of her, and she’ll rouse herself to see what’s going on out in the lobby. Then, she has to take a nap from all that effort.

Sophie's on Twitter, too.  Don't miss her words of wisdom - @sophiesue
